Girls night!

May 2, 2015

Last night I went to Kitty’s place to have a girls night with her and Rachel. It started of quite hilariously, because on our way there Kitty went ‘Don’t freak out’ while digging through her bag. Turns out she couldn’t find her house key. She decided that we should still go to her house because she wanted to see if she could ‘break into her own house’! So we got there and she had a walk around, but couldn’t find a way in. So she called her boyfriend who she had been texting during our drive and asked if he could drive out to us to give us the key (she had left it at his place), and he said he was already on the motorway because he knew there was no way she was going to be able to break in, haha. Very proactive! So we finally got in, ordered pizza, poured us some wine and lit the fire.

It was the first time Kitty had lit a fire and I hadn’t lit one either, so it took us quite a while to get it started. But when we got it going, it warmed up the lounge quickly!

A bit later the pizza finally arrived and we dug into that. It was delicious! Especially after a few glasses of wine. As I said in one of my previous blog posts, pizza is what I crave the most now that I try to eat a bit healthier, so it really hit the spot. Still craving it though! Haha.

The night didn’t go on for too long, because we were all pretty tired after a long day at work, but we had a lot of fun. We shared lots of gossip, stories and we played some games. Kitty was going to bake some lemon and poppyseed muffins, but we completely forgot! I think we were all pretty full after the pizza anyway.

We will have to do this again sometime soon ladies! I had lots of fun.
