Movie: The Spectacular Now

May 2, 2015

I did manage to squeeze in another movie tonight, and I chose The Spectacular Now. Also a movie with Miles Teller. I remember seeing the trailer at one point thinking it looked a bit average, but I don’t trust trailers a lot of the time. Sometimes trailers give away all the good parts of a movie, and sometimes they don’t do the movie justice.

So I decided I would watch the movie anyway. Unfortunately I didn’t think it was that great. It had some good parts, but it was mainly a downer, and that’s not really what I felt like. I’m sure it’s really meaningful and all, but yeah, I wanted something more positive, haha.

The Spectacular Now

I definitely think that Miles Teller is a talented actor. He played both these roles pretty well. I haven’t really seen Shailene Woodley before. I haven’t seen the Divergent movies because I’ve heard they’re pretty disappointing. And I haven’t watched The Fault in our Stars either because I know it’s a really sad movie, and I don’t often feel like watching sad movies.

Alright, well that’s probably enough for tonight. It’s getting a bit late, so I think I’ll go to bed so that we can get up early tomorrow to go to the vegetable market.

I thought the movie was just OK! They could have done a better job with the script! My Opinion to you is to tell you that it is okay to watch sad movies once in a while, but yes, you will need a lot of tissues for the Fault in our Stars!!lol!!! I also think that you should watch Divergent, but again, it’s up to you!! If you do plan on watching these movies, please to tell me how much you liked or disliked them!! <3 <3 <3

Haha yeah it’s not that I don’t like sad movies, because I do. I just have to be in the right mood for them. I think I’ll watch The Fault in our Stars at some point. 🙂 and to be honest, I’ll probably watch Divergent too!
