Facebook memories

May 5, 2015

When Facebook came out with their new memories feature, I agreed to get reminders but I was pretty sure it was going to get quite annoying after a while seeing as they come through every day. But to be honest, I really haven’t got sick of them yet. I actually think it’s pretty entertaining. I’ve forgotten about a bunch of things I did back in the day. Seeing memories from when I was 21 years old is pretty fun. Man, time flies.

It’s cool too see pictures from back then too, because I don’t often go back that far these days. I have a chocking amount of pictures of myself, haha. I blame/thank Jeremy for that because he used to take a truckload of photos back in the day. He doesn’t take nearly as many photos these days. If he did, I’m sure we would have run out of hard drive space a long time ago, haha.

Waitakere Ranges

Today, Facebook reminded me of the above picture. It was taken at the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park, three years ago today. Looks like a pretty happy and relaxing day, right? Well it was, up until later that same day when someone broke in to our car and stole all our belongings! I remember that day very well. Luckily, for some reason, they left my wallet behind in the car. Almost as if they felt a bit sorry taking all of it, haha.

It was a good trip though. We just need to be more careful and either leave our stuff at the hotel, or take it with us wherever we go. Would have been super tricky that time though, because we were walking down steps and hills to get to a waterfall.
