Bugs all over me!

May 12, 2015

BugsWell, not really. But it is scaring me how often I wake up in the middle of the night, thinking I have bugs crawling all over me. It’s happened several times within the last month, and I can’t understand why. Even when I’m awake I can still feel them, until I turn on the lights and there is nothing there. It must be something causing the feeling, but I’m unsure what. Maybe my hair is tickling me or something and my brain automatically assumes that it is bugs.

It’s pretty gross. Every time it happens I have to get out of bed, or I won’t feel comfortable falling back asleep. I sometimes even lift the blankets just to make sure there is nothing there, and there never is.

If anyone has an explanation for this, I would really appreciate it!

Sophie
