Nail inspiration

May 12, 2015

I’m often pretty boring when it comes to nail polish as I usually go for different shades of red or pink. But every now and again I feel like trying something different, especially if I get inspired by seeing someone else wearing a funky nail colour, or if I read a blog post somewhere. The latter is what happened yesterday when I came across a blog post by Arielle who writes withallmyaffection.com. She showed off a bunch of pastel coloured nail polishes and it made me want to go with a pastel colour myself. I went with blue.

I always try to do one feature nail because it just makes it look better in my opinion. Glitter is always a good option! Although, I’m not too happy with the glitter polish I used because it’s a bit chunky. I prefer finer grains. I’m also horrible at taking photos of my nails. I don’t know how other bloggers do it so well. I can never seem to find the right angle and the photo just ends up looking a bit strange. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll master it one day.

If you’ve got any tips for nail polish I should try, let me know! 🙂

Sophie
