Neutrogena cleanser and toner

May 13, 2015

I’ve had quite a few issues with my skin lately and I’m struggling to find products that will help. Last year, I had some sort of allergic reaction which meant that I got dry and sore areas around my eyes and lips. It was horrible. At first I tried to just moisturise to see if that helped, but it only made it worse. So I ended up seeing a doctor and he gave me some creams to apply. I used them for a while and luckily my skin went back to normal.

I still don’t know what I reacted to, but since then I’ve tried to use products that are as mild as possible on the skin. I’ve gone through quite a few brands so far, but I really wanted to find a face wash that is a makeup remover as well, so I decided to buy Neutrogena products. I have used some Neutrogena products before and they were alright.

As embarrassing as it is, I’m almost 27 years old and I still have problems with pimples. To be honest, I’m having more problems with them now than I did during my teens, which I find strange. But I’m hoping that the above products will help with that as well. Before I was using a cleanser to remove my makeup, but I have a feeling there was always a bit of makeup left and it ended up clogging my pores. So now that I have a cleanser which is a makeup remover as well, fingers crossed it will fix that problem.

Jeremy was kind enough to buy me some Trilogy products a while back, I think for Christmas. I’ve been using them, and although they smell great and moisturises my skin, I have a feeling that they are a bit too moisturising for me. So I’ll use them every now and again rather than every day from now on.
