3D printed food?!

May 15, 2015

It never seizes to amaze me what products are created these days. When the 3D printer came out, I was very impressed, but at the same time, I wasn’t sure if they could really take it any further, and I probably wouldn’t use one. Today I found out that there is a Kickstarter project where they’ve created a food 3D printer! Yup, food! Imagine being able to print amazing designs for your baking or cooking. Mind blown.

If you’d like to back this project, you can find it here. If you’ve got a spare €7,000 you could get the first printer! You also get to go to their headquarters, and complete a three day course in food printing. They will even show you around Bavaria if you’d like! You do have to pay for the flight there yourself I’m assuming, haha.

Kickstarter is pretty cool! I’ve only ever backed one Project and that is the most successful project of all time on Kickstarter. ‘Exploding Kittens‘ by Elan Lee and The Oatmeal.
