Pink Ribbon brunch at St John’s

June 1, 2015

So as I mentioned yesterday, Kitty and I went to a Pink Ribbon brunch at St John’s. $20 included brunch, pastries, tea, coffee and a donation to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

It was really great to catch up with Kitty, we sat there for ages talking about what we’ve both been up to lately. The food was really good too, although we had to wait for it for a long time. So long that the waitress came over to ask if we had eaten out food already. Because of the long wait we got to grab another tea and coffee for free. To be honest, I didn’t really mind the wait because I had a great time just sitting there talking.

After we finished the brunch we went to Costume Cave to see if I could find myself a wig for our work party on Friday. The theme is 80s. Looking at photos from the 80s, it’s all about the hair. And to be honest, my hair is too thin to get the volume I need. Unfortunately it was closed, so I’ll have to go back and have a look tomorrow. Fingers crossed I’ll find something great!
