I really appreciate good customer service when I come across it. Mainly because I’ve worked in a customer service role for many years and can tell when someone is doing their best to help you out. I feel that Apple Support really is in a league of their own. I’ve had a few issues with my iPhone in the past, and have never had to worry about it.
One time, they even fixed my phone outside of its warranty because I asked them nicely, and the guy on the phone agreed that the phone shouldn’t have had that issue in the first place (it was an issue with the power button I didn’t cause). And another time I got my charging cable replaced when it had broken, even though it was likely my own fault for twisting it when charging.
I’ve had my phone fixed twice, and today I called them up because the battery on my Macbook Air needs to be serviced. The guy I spoke to was super helpful and gave me the address and phone number for the store here in Wellington where I can go drop my computer off to get it fixed for free. This time I did have AppleCare, so I didn’t have to ask as nicely as last time, haha.
I don’t think I could go back to using anything else than an iPhone to be completely honest. I’ve tried out the other smartphones out there, but I really can’t find any that are as good as iPhones are. I’m sorry to all the Android lovers out there, haha.
After work today I’m going to go drop my Macbook off, and hopefully it won’t take too long to have it fixed. I might not be able to blog as much while it’s gone unfortunately, but I’ll try to do some updates from my phone.
