Yesterday I struggled to think of things to do with my time in the evening. Jeremy was working late and my laptop is still getting its battery fixed. I thought of baking something, but it was too cold in the kitchen, so I decided to crawl into bed with my phone. Although I said the other day that watching Netflix on my phone isn’t great, that is exactly what I decided to do.
I had a look through the TV shows the NZ version of Netflix has to offer, and realised that they don’t have any of the latest seasons of TV shows that I actually watch – disappointing. So I decided to check out something new instead. I settled on White Collar. I have to say, it does seem like quite an interesting show. I watched the first two episodes and I will likely continue on for now. Once I had seen the first episode I decided to check how many seasons have been released so far, and it’s six (at least on NZ Netflix). Now, that is a lot of seasons to catch up with! But I can do it – I’ve done it before!
The show reminded me a little bit of Suits, but at the same time it’s completely different. I guess it’s just the relationship between the two main characters that resembles the relationship between Harvey and Mike in Suits. I haven’t yet learned the names of the characters in White Collar, but I’m sure I will soon.
All I keep thinking about is how Matt Bomer was considered for the role of Christian Grey in 50 shades of Grey. When I heard that I didn’t really know who he was, but now that I’ve actually seen him act, I think he could have done a pretty good job. I do think he made the right choice turning it down though, because it doesn’t seem like his kind of movie, haha.
I will likely watch some more tonight, and hopefully it remains as good as the first couple of episodes.
