Fix and Fogg

June 19, 2015

This morning, we went out for our team meeting. We went to Leeds Street bakery and had some hot chocolate. I’ve never been there before, it was quite a cute little cafe. It was really warm in there too, which is much appreciated by me seeing as I’m always cold.

On the way back, Paul showed us this little peanut butter shop that I’ve also never seen before. It’s so hidden away I don’t know how anyone’s found it! It’s a hole in the wall type of business, where they just open the window to serve you. Pretty cool I thought. We got to sample some of their peanut butters and they were delicious. I didn’t buy any, but I might at some point! At least I know where to find them now.

They had one peanut butter that was a ‘hot and smoky’ flavoured one. I gave it a go, and it was pretty tasty. Would work really well on a burger or something similar.

I’ve been living in Wellington for almost 7 years, but there are so many places I’ve never been. So many cool alleyways to discover. I think I’ll just go exploring one day, to see what I find. Wellington apparently has more cafes per capita than New York does, believe it or not. So you’ll never really run out of new places to check out which is pretty cool.

If you’re from Wellington and you’ve got recommendations for cool places I should check out, definitely let me know!

Sophie
