Essie nail polish

June 25, 2015

The other day I bought a couple of nail polishes from Trade Me. I haven’t bought nail polish in ages, so it was about time. They have arrived and I’m very happy with my purchase. I painted my toenails with the dark pink one. It’s almost purple once you’ve got it on.

The two colours are Cute as a Button and Big Spender. I’m going to try the Cute as a Button one on my fingernails next time I re-paint them. I think it’s going to look great!

If I was any good at doing swatches, I would, but unfortunately I’m not. I just always struggle with photographing my nails. And they’re usually not long enough, so it doesn’t look that great in photos. But, I thought I would find some photos online for you so that you can see what these polishes look like.

I’ll probably buy some more Essie polishes, because they seem to be quite good quality and they’re cheaper than OPI. I find that OPI polishes are usually good but once you go through about half the bottle the polish starts getting thicker and much harder to use. Not sure why that is.

Anyway, I’m super happy with my purchase! 🙂
