One week of the 7-minute workout challenge done

July 8, 2015

It’s been one week and a bit since I started the 7-minute workout challenge and it’s going better than I thought it would. I haven’t skipped a day (which if you know me well, is impressive considering how lazy I am). I don’t really feel more energetic, but I do feel like it’s getting easier to get through the workout each morning.

One thing that does annoy me quite a bit is that since I started, my body fat percentage has risen. It’s at an unhealthy level, and I really need to bring it down, so any tips on how to do that without losing too much weight would be much appreciated. I always find that difficult – I’m pretty much at the weight I want to be, but I have too much body fat.

I’m going to try out a low-carb diet for a while. I’m definitely not cutting out carbs completely as I’m sure that is not good for you, but I’m going to try to avoid them where I can. I read somewhere that if you do that, the body will start burning the fat when there are no carbs to burn. I don’t really know how it works, haha. I’m just trying different things.
