Look out Australia, here we come!

July 26, 2015

It’s been confirmed that Jeremy and I will be travelling to Australia in February next year. I’m already excited! I’ve been to Australia many times, but I’m just excited to go overseas. It’s been a long time since we left New Zealand.

We will be going to Sydney on the 30th of January where we will be staying for three nights. When we’re there we’ll be attending a friend’s wedding, which will be awesome. Jordan is one of Jeremy’s best friends and I would hate for him to miss the wedding, seeing as he’s already missed one, and he was really gutted about it.

Still haven’t really decided what we’ll do the other days we’re there, but I’m thinking a visit to the zoo could be nice, some shopping and just some general sightseeing. Although we’ve been to Sydney at least 3-4 times, I’m sure there are heaps more things to see.

Sydney

Hoping to try out some new restaurants while we’re there, maybe have a drink or two at a bar somewhere. Jeremy and I usually go to the same places when we’re over there because we know they’re good, but I think it’s time to experience something new.

On the 3rd of February, we’ll be travelling down to Ulladulla to visit Jeremy’s brother and his family. We’ve arranged so that everyone in the family is meeting up at their place. It’s be Jeremy and I, John and his wife, Jason and his family (wife and three kids), and Jeremy’s parents. Full house! Haha.

They live in an area close to the ocean, so may have to go check it out while we’re there. It’ll be summer, so it would be a shame not to. Although, I will not be swimming. I’ve heard too much about the sharks over there. Most people will think I’m silly, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. Plus, I’m not a huge fan of swimming anyway, but I still like beaches because they’re beautiful.

If you’ve got any tips for things I should do while in Sydney or the Ulladulla area, let me know in the comments section! 🙂
