Review: Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume Mascara

August 5, 2015

I used the same mascara for a very long time. It was also a Revlon Mascara, but it was the Revlon Grow Luscious. It worked quite well, but I felt like I was ready to try something different, so I decided to give this one a go.

My first impression of it was really good. It seems to give your lashes a lot more volume and length than a lot of other mascaras I’ve tried. The brush is quite good too, and it separates your lashes nicely so that they don’t stick together.

I read a review before buying it saying that it can be a bit lumpy on your lashes. I’ve only found that to be the case when you’re trying to build up too many layers. If you stick to just a few layers, you shouldn’t have that problem (well, at least I haven’t).

It seems to last all day, and it’s easy to wash off too. I went with the non-waterproof version, but I’m pretty sure there is a waterproof one as well if that’s what you’d prefer. I’ve found waterproof mascaras to be a pain, because they’re so much harder to wash off.

I think I’ll continue to use this one for a while to be honest. Here’s my rating:

4,5
