Jeremy had a free movie ticket lying around that he needed to use up before the end of the month, and I realised that I had enough points to score myself a free ticket as well. So we looked up what movies were on tonight and decided on The Man from U.N.C.L.E. I wasn’t super excited about it to be honest, because it didn’t look like the kind of movie I would enjoy.
I was wrong. Very wrong! I absolutely loved it. It had so many great things going for it – great storyline, amazing actors, comedy, action and even a little bit of romance. So it ticked a lot of boxes for me.
To me it was a really unpredictable movie, which I love. I really don’t like when you can predict everything that is going to happen. I had no clue in this movie, so the plot twists always came as a surprise to me.
In case you haven’t heard of this movie before, here’s a quick synopsis:
In the early 1960s, CIA agent Napoleon Solo and KGB operative Illya Kuryakin participate in a joint mission against a mysterious criminal organization, which is working to proliferate nuclear weapons.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll think that sounds boring. But trust me, the movie is definitely worth watching. If you need a bit more convincing, you can check out the trailer here.
