I’m a very impatient person when it comes to waiting for my nails to dry. I can’t really remember the last time I successfully painted my nails without bumping them against something, or accidentally rubbing them before they were dry. Just as frustrating every time it happens.
So I’ve been looking around for a long time to find a product that actually dries my nails fast. I’ve tried many top coats. The only one I’ve found that worked like magic was Seche Vite. But in saying that, I don’t really feel comfortable using a product that states ‘it can cause birth defects if used while pregnant’. That sort of put me off using it altogether.
So I spotted these quick-e drying drops a while back and decided I might give them a go. They were on special on onceit.co.nz, so I grabbed them. I’m a huge fan of Essie nail polishes, so I was hoping that this product would be of the same standard.
And all I can say is ‘wow’. I’ve never used anything like this product before, so when I started to put some drops on my nails, I was pretty unsure of whether it would work or not seeing as the drops just sort of spread all over my fingers, haha. (I might have used a bit too much, but I only used two drops per nail!)
I decided to give it 5 minutes and then I’d stroke my finger over one nail to see if it would smudge it. Outcome – it didn’t! Now, they weren’t completely dry, but I was confident that if I gave it another 5 minutes or so, they would be, and I was right. I was able to continue with my day as normal without worrying about bumping my nails, what a relief! Haha.
So yes, I recommend these. Now, I can’t compare them to any other drying drops that are out there seeing as I haven’t tried any others. Perhaps there are other drops that work even better than these? But I’ll stick with these for now, seeing as I’m super happy with how they worked.
My final rating for this product is:
Have you tried these? If so, what did you think? Or do you have recommendations of other drying drops I should check out? Let me know by commenting on this post. 🙂
