Dinner and drinks at Mexico with Kitty!

September 7, 2015

On Friday after work, Kitty and I met up for some dinner and delicious margaritas at Mexico. It had been a really long time since we caught up as she’s been away on holiday travelling around America (so jealous). So it was really nice to have a few drinks and chat.

I didn’t take too many photos that night because I just forgot. And the ones that we did take aren’t very good quality. It was just so dark in there it was impossible to snap a good photo. I even had to change my seat for Kitty to be able to take a photo of me. When I sat on the other side you couldn’t even see my face in the photo!

We didn’t end up ordering a lot of food, but we spent a lot of money on jugs of margaritas. I think we spend $40 each on just that, haha. The food was really tasty, but quite pricy for what you actually get. They are sharing plates, and roughly around $15 each. We ordered some quesadillas and a ceviche dish. Both were really yum.

It wasn’t a really long night, I think I headed home just after 9pm. I had to cut the night short because I knew I needed to be in great shape for the Food Show the day after! It would have been a nightmare to show up to the food show hungover. Wouldn’t have enjoyed any of the food.

It was really lovely to catch up though and it was a really cosy place. We’re planning on doing something together again really soon.

What did you get up to over the weekend?
