Yup, I’m definitely getting the iPhone 6s Plus!

September 10, 2015

I’ve been waiting patiently all day to come home and watch the Apple keynote. I’m not too interested in the iPad, Apple TV or Apple Watch updates, but I was super curious to find out what they’ve done with the iPhone 6s. This is because I decided a few weeks ago that it’s time for a new phone, and to be perfectly honest, it was always going to be an iPhone (I’m not a big fan of Android phones).

So we watched the keynote this evening, and wow.. there is no question about it, I’m getting the iPhone 6s Plus. I was considering getting the iPhone 6s, but I just feel like you get so much more value out of the 6s Plus. It is quite large, but considering the fact that I mostly use my phone to take photos and view photos and blog.. I think a bigger screen would be pretty great. What’s even better is that it comes in Rose Gold!

iPhone-6S Rose Gold

How pretty is that! That’s the colour I’m getting for sure. I was originally going to go with the gold, but I can’t resist the rose gold. Good call Apple!

It’s so expensive. I’m pretty sure I’m going to go all out to get maximum value, because this is definitely going to be the phone I use for the next few years. So I’ll likely get the 128gb version and sign up for extra Apple Care. The iPhone 5 that I’ve got currently has served me well for a few years now (I had some issues and have had to get it replaced twice, but without hassle), but it’s time for an upgrade.

Now I just have to decide whether I’ll pre-order it, or if I’ll line up to get it. I want to make sure I get it before our Queenstown & Wanaka trip so that I can experiment with the photos and videos. I’m really curious about the Live Photos function. Could be pretty cool! Will very likely upload some to the blog (unless the files are massive).

Do you prefer iPhone or Android? Let me know in the comments. 🙂

I have a oneplusone right now which is a great phone but 6s could be my next one, I love the simplicity that Apple brings.

Yeah, Apple are really good at announcing great, easy to use improvements every time they release a new phone!

Yeah unfortunately I’m not too keen on it. Mainly because Netflix in New Zealand is pretty bad, and we don’t have Hulu. Don’t think we’d be able to use HBO either. So I don’t think it would be very useful at this stage. Great for Americans though! Haha.

I think it could be really great in the future when there is a better variety of content. 🙂

I love apple! So easy to use, excellent camera quality and just such a good looking phone in general. Although expensive it is totally worth it, especially with the Apple Care, you really can’t go wrong. Love the new colour as well!! I just started a beauty blog if you are interested in checking it out! 🙂

I’m not going to lie, I’m super excited about the new colour! Haha. But the camera is probably the most important part for me. Love your blog! Thanks for stopping by mine!

Netflix sucks but use a service like and you get all the US content, suddenly it will be a great product.

Unfortunately the US Netflix doesn’t seem great either. Unless the TV shows are up to date and there are movies I want to see, it’s not worth paying for in my opinion. I had a friend look up tv shows and movies for me and the ones I watch don’t appear to be on there.

Just use a service like and open up Netflix, I use that to see all U.S. content here I Sweden otherwise Netflix would suck, U.S. has just so much more content. That is the only reason I pay for Netflix otherwise I would never have it.

Someone told me they thought the content on Swedish Netflix was better than the US content. I wouldn’t know, but I don’t think either would be worth paying for when it comes to what I’m after.
