Less than three weeks to go!

September 22, 2015

I can’t wait till Jeremy and I go on holiday. In less than three weeks’ time we’ll be flying down to Queenstown and we’ll spend a few days in Wanaka to start with, and then we’ll drive back to Queenstown to stay there for three nights. It’s going to be so much fun. It’s been ages since we travelled last. We used to go travelling quite often, but now that we’ve got a mortgage to pay, we simply can’t afford it, which is a shame.

I’m hoping that I’ll receive my new iPhone 6s Plus before we go. I should, because it’s due to be shipped on the 25th of September, but there’s a slight chance that it’ll deliver later because of the amount that were purchased. Would be absolutely brilliant if I get it on my birthday (28th of September). I just want to be able to bring it along to take photos and record some videos too.

We’ve booked in a half day tour with Funny French Cars. It was rated pretty highly on Tripadvisor, so it seemed like a fun thing to do while we’re there. We’ll also be checking out Nordavia Bake Shop to have some Swedish ‘fika’ while we’re there. I’m looking forward to eating some Swedish baking! There’s also a place called Gin and Raspberry Boutique Bar that I’m wanting to check out.

Apparently it’s still going to be quite cold down there when we’re there, which I’m not too happy about. But hopefully that means that we’ll be able to take some pretty nice photos with snow on the mountains. Jeremy wanted to go ‘tubing’ or something, I just really don’t want to spend any time near snow. I’d like to stay warm where I can, haha.

Can’t wait to go! Do you have any holidays planned?

I hope you and your partner really enjoy your holiday. Good luck with getting your iPhone by the time you leave (Apple are pretty good at sticking to their expected delivery dates). If you do get it, let me know what the camera is like (my 5s is getting a bit tired in the quality camera phone department)! Travel safe 🙂

Well, if I would live in NZ I might not travel this much but here in Finland is not that much to see (and the winter is super cold sometimes – like in Sweden). 🙂

Yeah I don’t miss those cold winters! Haha. It’s just a lot harder to travel around here because it’s so far away from everything else!

Not going to lie, it’s not my photo but it was taken in Wanaka, New Zealand. I probably shouldn’t have used it to be completely honest. Oh well.. Once I’ve been down there I’ll have some photos of my own to share!
