I was stoked when I saw that my iPhone had arrived this morning. I absolutely can’t wait to play with it! Every single person I’ve talked to after I ordered it have told me that it’s waaaay too big and that they don’t get why I would want a phone that big. The explanation is pretty simple – it’s great for what I use phones for these days.
I mainly use my phone to text people, take photos, watch videos, edit photos, use Facebook, browse the internet and much more. What don’t I use my phone for? Calling people. Seriously, I probably only call people a couple of times per month, if that. When I call my parents, I usually call them from my laptop over Skype. So the few times I’ll actually need to use this iPhone to call people, I can deal with the fact that it’s rather large and will look ridiculous next to my ear.
Once I’ve charged the phone and done a backup from my old phone I’ll be playing around with it for the rest of the night I’m pretty sure! Curious to see how different apps look on it, and I’ll likely be taking some photos over the weekend to see what it can do.
I’ve got it plugged in at work to charge it, but I can’t go any further until I do the backup. So frustrating. It’s like when you were a kid and you opened your Xmas present and were told that you couldn’t play with it until after dinner. That’s just not fair!
I absolutely love the colour! It’s so pretty. Although a lot of people keep calling it pink, it’s definitely not. You can see the gold in the colour, so rose gold is very accurate. One thing I find strange is that it says iPhone S at the back. They’ve completely missed out the 6. But after having a look at my iPhone 5 I can see that it just says iPhone on the back so I guess that’s standard.
Eeek, can’t wait to get home to have a play. Only 3.5 hours until I finish work!
