I went for a walk on Sunday

October 6, 2015

Over the weekend, when I was doing pretty much absolutely nothing, I felt like I had to go out for a walk to get out of the house and get some fresh air. I was also quite keen to try out this iPhone 6s Plus camera to see what it can do.

I discovered quite quickly that there is an issue there that Apple need to really think about fixing. The problem is that if you’re listening to music on Spotify and then open up the camera app, the music immediately stop. I really don’t see a reason why it should. I googled it and found that there are lots of people out there who are annoyed at the same thing. Someone had called Apple and apparently been told that the music should only turn off if they’re trying to use the video mode or live photo mode.

Well Apple, that is not the case. They even told that person to reset the phone to see if that would help. Surely they could have just tested it out at their end to see that it didn’t work? I managed to take a few photos during my walk, but I couldn’t find many photo opportunities where I walked.

It was really nice outside. A warm day, but unfortunately quite windy. It was super nice to just walk, listen to music and think. Music can be so therapeutic sometimes, especially in combination with nature. Sometimes I just feel like going outside to lie down on the grass somewhere secluded and just listen to music, think and dream.

Wow, I’m so deep sometimes, haha. The nature is something that I’ll really miss about New Zealand when I move back to Europe in the future. But in saying that, I miss the Swedish nature like crazy too. I don’t think anything can beat the smell, feel and sound of the Swedish summer. Being from there, I suppose it’s only natural for me to feel that way! I wish I could go there right now.

Do you love nature, or are you more of an indoors kind of person? 🙂

People hear are super nice. That was one of the first things I noticed about New Zealand. In Sweden people are so much more reserved. Here they are always happy to have a chat 🙂

Your Images are showing me that the residential area there does not look that much different than any of them here. Even some of the same type’s of cars. The only difference is the license plates, and some of the plants & flowers.

Yes, I am much more of an outdoor person, rather than indoor. As you might have seen on my Page, it shows just what I do when I get “out there” with my Nikon camera. I enjoy “snooping around” Historic places that are around my area. Most of what is here, I have Posted about, but there is still more. The weather plays a big part of when I go out. Don’t care for cold & rainy weather. If it’s to hot, I’ll stay inside where it’s cooler. However, at this time of the year, the leaves start changing into their Fall splendor and the weather is usually cool, but not too cold. Bright sunny day’s make the color of the leaves much better to photograph. You can bet that I’ll be “out there.”

I can’t say I’m an outdoors person at heart, because I do really enjoy indoor activities, and I’m quite lazy. But sometimes it’s nice to just get out there and enjoy the fresh air and take some photos. 🙂

I’m definitely an outdoors person who gets in a rut and stays indoors. I’m going to take your advice and just go for a walk and listen to music x
