Movie: Trainwreck

November 16, 2015

I’ve been wanting to watch this movie for a while now. I wanted to go see it in the cinema but couldn’t find anyone that wanted to go with me! It just seemed like it would be a really funny movie, and it’s been a while since I saw a movie that really made me laugh.

I wasn’t wrong! It was really funny, and there were many laugh out loud moments. I’ve seen a bit of Amy Schumer’s stand-up, and she’s pretty hilarious. I don’t like a lot of female comedians, so it’s great to have found one I really enjoy watching.

The movie was definitely more of a comedy than a chick flick in my opinion (although some parts of it could definitely be considered a bit chick flicky). I was wanting to watch the movie with Jeremy, but I just figured it wouldn’t be the kind of movie he’d enjoy, so I decided to watch it by myself on my day off. I wouldn’t mind watching it again though. Maybe I’ll talk Jeremy into watching it with my anyway.

Who knew that Lebron James is such a great actor! I’m always a bit unsure when I see that sportsmen, singers or other types of celebrities are going to be in a movie. But he actually did really well. When he’s too old for sports he should totally look at an acting career!

I’ve always been quite a big fan of Bill Hader. Not sure why, because I haven’t actually seen that many movies with him in them. I think it might just be from what I’ve seen of him on Saturday Night Live. He’s a funny guy! He played the more serious part in this movie though, which was interesting to see.

I’ve seen some pretty poor ratings for this movie around, but I really reckon it’s worth a watch. It’s not mind-blowing or anything, but it’s funny and a good movie to watch when you just want to laugh.

I’ll give this one 4/5.

It was a very surprising, very heart felt movie about a woman trying to find love and trying to find herself at the same time. Great performances all the way round.

I agree with you- not the absolute best movie ever made, but I have definitely seen a lot worse! I laughed out loud a LOT and omg Lebron totally made the entire movie for me, he was so hilarious!
