I woke up early to drive Jeremy to work, even though I had the day off and could have slept in.
I only spent money on things I was planning to buy, and didn’t impulse buy anything.
I had a Subway salad for lunch even though I felt like eating something much more unhealthy.
I went to the gym, even though I had the day off. It took a bit of convincing myself, but I made it there.
I made another salad for dinner rather than asking Jeremy to cook or getting take-out from somewhere.
I was feeling positive all day long and didn’t let anything ruin my mood.
I did my own manicure at home instead of spending money on getting it done in town.
I did not have a snack after dinner, and instead went and brushed my teeth as soon as I had finished eating.
I bought a Secret Santa gift for someone and paid a bit more than the planned amount to get a better gift.
I wrote this blog post before bedtime! 🙂
Sometimes it’s good to sit down and think about things you’ve done well. That’s why I decided to write this post, and I would recommend others to do the same as we all do a lot of things we should be proud of every day that we may not realise – big things and small things.
Did you do something you’re proud of today?
