If we were on a coffee date… #1

December 9, 2015

I’ve seen posts like these on many blogs, so I thought ‘why not jump on the bandwagon and do one myself?’ It’ll give you an insight into my incredibly eventful life (it’s actually not that eventful, it’s hard to get sarcasm across through a blog post!)

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I drink coffee now. Like, regularly. Such a strange thing to me. I’m 27 years old and I’ve only just started drinking coffee. I didn’t do it because I thought it tastes good either, I just wanted to give it a go one time when Jeremy and I were at a Nespresso shop, and then I just continued from there. It doesn’t taste as awful now either, which is great! I’m currently quite a fan of Moccona instant coffee.

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I’m excited about how far my knitting has come in only a few days, and it’s actually looking pretty good. It’s not too messy, which I would have expected it to be seeing as I’m a beginner at this. I think my scarf is getting close to 30 cm. I have to try to figure out how long a scarf normally is. Fingers crossed I should have it completed in a few weeks.

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I’m really excited about my plans for moving overseas in the near future. I’ve lived in New Zealand for more than 7 years now and I miss my home country Sweden a lot. Jeremy and I have made the decision to move back there for a while to see if we’re able to live there comfortably for a while. There are a lot of obstacles, such as him getting a job with Swedish as his second language (he’s getting a lot better at it), and we have to find somewhere to live, which seems almost impossible in Sweden these days. The waiting time for an apartment in Stockholm is on average 10 years! That’s just insane.

If we were on a coffee date, I would let you know that I’m trying my very hardest to find motivation to go to the gym more often. It’s going OK, but I’m not going nearly as often as I should. Lately I’ve also had trouble breathing while working out, which worries me. I’ve been told by my doctor that I don’t have asthma, so not sure what the issue is.

If we were on a coffee date, I’d probably tell you that I watched two movies over the weekend. ‘Before we go‘ and ‘The Fault in Our Stars‘. The first one was OK, but not outstanding. The second was really good, but it was a mistake to watch it before bed time. Lots of tears. Shailene Woodley is such an amazing actress. I’ve seen quite a few movies with her in them now, but I’m yet to watch the Divergent series. Will have to watch them at some point soon.

I actually signed up for the Writing 101 course, but I never ended up taking it as I just didn’t have the time. I thought that might have been the case, as I’ve seen this type of post on many other blogs!

I looooove coffee. I 100% drink it for the taste haha. I’m addicted and I’m not even sorry. I have definitely lost my motivation to work out >.< Uh, oh. Haha. I think all the Christmas mince pies might be a bit of a motivating factor soon! I have eaten so many already. I hope your breathing gets sorted soon! I have asthma and it can be the WORST. I hope you can find a place in Sweden as well! I have wanted to visit Sweden for the longest of long times!

Yes, Xmas definitely isn’t a great help when you’re trying to stay fit! Haha. Not a fan of mince pies myself, but I won’t say no to a good trifle and some ham! Cool to hear you’re keen on visiting Sweden! You totally should, it often gets overlooked but we have a lot to offer 🙂
