If we were on a coffee date… #2

December 21, 2015

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I’m getting way too addicted to coffee. Going from not drinking any at all to having a few cups a day is doing weird things to me. Well, I can’t guarantee that it’s the coffee, but it seems likely. I now feel like I ‘need’ the coffee to be able to focus properly at work. I never felt that need before, so that’s new to me. Maybe I’ll have to re-think my new coffee drinking patterns.

If we were on a coffee date, I would let you know that I’m getting a bit sick of the scarf I’m knitting. I tried a sock and that didn’t really work out so I’m now thinking of trying some crocheting. I used to crochet as a kid, so shouldn’t be too hard to learn again.

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I am going to be driving from Palmerston North to Wellington by myself for the first time after Christmas. I’m not super nervous about it, but at the same time it’s going to feel strange because I usually always have Jeremy next to me. As long as the weather is good, I’m sure I won’t feel worried about it. If the rain is pouring, I’ll likely feel a bit uneasy. I’m a confident driver, but I always feel a bit nervous in poor weather conditions.

If we were on a coffee date, I would tell you that I miss Sweden a lot, especially around Christmas time. I miss my family, the food, and even the snow (although, I’ve been told they don’t have any snow yet). I usually hate snow, but there is just something not quite right about a sunny Christmas. I also miss my mum’s baking a lot. Would do anything for a saffron bun right now.

If we were on a coffee date, I’d probably complain about having no money to spend. I’m saving pretty much all the money I can right now, so technically I do have money to spend. But I’m trying my very best to keep it in savings. It’s hard!

If we were on a coffee date, I’d tell you that I’m really looking forward to going to Australia in February next year. Jeremy and I are going to Sydney to attend a wedding, and Ulladulla to visit his brother. It’s been quite a while since I was overseas, so it’ll be really nice.

The amount of coffee you are drinking could be affecting your mood and your breathlessness in the gym?

I thought that could be the case, but I felt breathless even when I didn’t drink coffee. Plus, it seems to have improved a bit lately. 🙂
