I’m such a Swede!

February 1, 2016

This morning, Jeremy and I were struggling to think about what to do. We were originally planning to go to the zoo, but we knew it was likely going to rain so we decided it wasn’t such a great idea after all. We had a look around for indoor activities, and I suggested Madame Tussaud’s but Jeremy wasn’t too keen on that. So where did we end up? IKEA.

I love IKEA, and Jeremy does too, so I really didn’t mind spending a few hours there to be honest. We managed to buy quite a few things, and had lunch there too. I have to say though, the food is nothing like in Sweden. I know it’s supposed to be, but either it doesn’t travel well, or they make it differently here. IKEA is much more expensive here too. Can’t wait to do my shopping at Swedish IKEA when we get there.

We’re back at the hotel now, resting. Jeremy is napping next to me, and I’m writing this blog post. I don’t think we’ll do too much tonight. We’ve got a wedding to go to tomorrow morning, so it’s going to have to be an early night.
