There are so many things I want to do!

March 7, 2016

Do you ever feel like we don’t have enough time to do the things we want to do in life? Well, I do. There are so many things I wish I had time for, but I get stressed out even thinking about trying to fit them into my life. It’s a bit depressing.

So what do I want to do? I’m glad you asked. Here are some things I would absolutely love to do:

– Learn Spanish
– Take cooking/baking classes
– Learn how to draw
– Become great at crocheting
– Take a photography course
– Re-learn my Photoshop skills and improve them
– Learn how to build an app

But how do you fit things like that into your life when you have a full time job and you’re planning to move to the other side of the world? Plus, I love spending time with Jeremy, and don’t want to become that person who’s always too busy to spend time with their other half. Yeah, that’s right, I call him my other half because that’s literally what he is to me.

I feel like I should probably start somewhere and just take it slow, but I just don’t know which one to pick first. It would be really cool re-learn my editing skills in Photoshop. Because I already had some, maybe it won’t take too long to get back into it? I’ve pretty much forgotten everything because I haven’t done any editing in like… 7 years or so.

Or maybe I should start with Spanish? It would be super cool to know three languages. But it feels like learning a language at my age is such hard work. I should have taken it more seriously when I was younger.

Then on the other hand, I’m already doing a bit of crocheting right now, so maybe I should start by improving those skills? Or should I work on becoming better at photography so that I can take better photos for the blog? I really don’t know!

What are some things you want to do that you don’t have time for? Let me know in the comments.

Oh phew! I thought there might have been something wrong with the commenting, haha. Glad to hear you like the new design. I’m quite fond of it myself. I’m playing around with the comment section at the moment to try to see if I can make it easier for people to comment 🙂

Oh, yes it’s very professional. I’m a mess with graphic design and nearly had a fit making my own book covers. Writing it wasn’t what tormented me LOL, I wish I was as good as you at that web design stuff!

The secret is buying an already designed theme! Haha. I didn’t do much of it myself at all. Pretty much just installed it and then slightly adjusted.

Get a cat! Learn Spanish as well. Go on a several day hike with the tent. Take a drawing course. — I’ll be starting a Spanish course in September, I’m training for the hike, our landlord won’t let us have pets, and the drawing will happen at some point I hope!

Nice goals! I totally understand the craving for a cat. I actually have one but she lives in Sweden with my mum!

Focus on photography first, because then you can Photoshop edit the pics you take – two birds, one stone 😉
