As soon as the snow arrived, I felt I needed to head out for a walk or two to take it all in and just enjoy winter at its best. Walking is still quite pleasant when it’s around 0 degrees outside, as long as you have a few layers of clothing on. However, I realised pretty soon during my second walk that -13 doesn’t feel quite as nice. I almost lost my legs to frostbite.
I was saying to Jeremy that my puffer jacket is amazing, because I can’t feel the cold through it, so I would love to purchase some puffer pants. He thought that was pretty funny, and I’m not even sure if that’s a thing. But if it isn’t, it really should be!
The Timberland shoes I bought in Australia on the way to Sweden are so great, probably one of my best purchases ever. I always have cold feet, but with those one, my feet stay toasty no matter what. Even after an hour walk in -12 degrees, they were warm. Absolutely amazing. Here are some photos I’ve taken during my walks.
The last few days have been either too cold or too warm (if you can call 2 degrees warm), so I haven’t been out for any more walks. The problem with 2 degrees is that the snow melts and everything gets wet and gross. That’s why 0 degrees is so perfect.
I’m sure there will be more days like those before winter is over though, so I don’t doubt that I’ll be able to take more nice photos sometime soon.
