7 Delicious Milkshake Recipes

January 11, 2017

OK, I have to admit – I haven’t tried a single one of these. So by describing them as delicious in the post title, I’m basing this on looks and how delicious the ingredients sound. I would love to try them all though, I really would.

Today is National Milk Day, so what better way to observe it than sharing milkshake recipes. Well, trying them would be a tad better I suppose. If you want the recipes, just click the titles or the images and you’ll be taken to the website where they were published!

Kit Kat Milkshake

Oh my, this looks amazing. The only thing I would change would be the Hershey’s chocolate syrup, because I’ve never been a fan of Hershey’s. But I’m assuming you could pretty much replace it with any chocolate syrup. Sure, it would probably alter the taste slightly, but I’m sure it would still be delicious.

Oreo Milkshake

I love Oreos. I mean, I don’t often by the cookies themselves but I seem to love anything that has Oreos in them. For example, cookies and cream ice cream. Yum! And I guess a Oreo milkshake won’t be too far off cookies and cream ice cream.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Milkshake

I’ve always liked peanut butter, but I feel like it might be one of those things that you either love or hate. My mum doesn’t like it at all for example. I honestly think this recipe sounds epic, and I might give it a go sometime soon when I feel like a treat.

Apple Pie Milkshake

Now this one intrigues me. I can’t say I’ve even had an Apple Pie in liquid form before! I guess the only negative with this recipe, is that you need an actual apple pie, as you have to chuck in a leftover piece. But hey, I’m sure it’s a situation I might find myself in at some point.

Candy Cane Crunch Milkshake

This one also sounds really intriguing. I don’t see why you wouldn’t just use normal cream instead of cool whip though. Cool whip must be an American thing, I don’t even think we have it in Sweden. But yeah, I’m sure regular cream would be fine.

Caramel Mocha Milkshake

Now that I actually like the taste of coffee, I’m sure this is something I’d really enjoy. There is also something about caramel sauce that I just love. I always get caramel sauce with my soft serve ice cream if I can.

Blueberry Cheesecake Milkshake

Oh my gosh, look at it! This looks so good. Cheesecake is something I didn’t use to like so much in the past, but now I absolutely love it. This one would probably be one of the first ones I’d try. The colour is amazing, perfect for summer I reckon.

I honestly feel like making all these right now. Too bad I don’t have the ingredients. I’ll settle for some Oboy instead! I’ve pretty much had a glass ever since I got back to Sweden. Love it.

Let me know if you try any of these, or if you’d like to! 🙂
